  1. DO NOT use any tools to install this filter
  2. Lift the grille assembly
  3. Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise
  4. Pull the filter straight out and discard
  5. Line up the new filter so the locking tabs will fit into the filter hea
  6. Push the new filter into the fridge until it stops
  7. Twist the filter a quarter-turn clockwise
  8. After the new filter cartridge is installed, the first full bucket of ice produced should be discarded
  9. This will help clean the water system and clear air from the line
  10. Allow 24 hours before discarding the first bucket of ice
