Instructions
- Twist the old filter a half-turn counterclockwise, but do not pull down on the cartridge while twisting
- Pull the filter straight down and discard (don't worry, the water will shut off automatically)
- Fill the new filter with water (you can use the cold water faucet on your kitchen sink)
- Push the new filter gently up into the fridge until it stops
- Twist the filter a half-turn clockwise (until it stops)
- Dispense 1 or 2 gallons of water from the dispenser to clear the system and prevent sputtering
- Reset your 'change filter' light
Reset Instructions
- Refrigerators with LCD screens: Press the 'Filter Replaced' button
- Refrigerators without LCD screens: Press and hold the 'Reset Filter' button on the dispenser for 3 seconds
