The GE RPWFE Refrigerator Water Filter replaces the GE RPWF and is made especially for select GE french-door refrigerators. This product is ahead of its time with GE engineering a filter that reduces up to 98% of trace pharmaceuticals including progesterone, atenolol, fluxoetine, trimethoprim, and ibuprofen that could be present in your water. Additionally, the Activated Carbon filter media reduces major contaminants such as lead, cysts, mercury, asbestos, chlorine taste and odor. Each filter should be replaced every 6 months and installation is simple with no tools required. Refrigerators requiring the RPWFE must use the RPWFE, if you require the RPWF upgrade to the RPWFE today!

Instructions
- Open filter door and pull bottom of filter to swing it outward
- WITHOUT TWISTING remove the filter straight out
- NOTE: A small amount of water may come out after detatching filter
- Align top of new filter so the word FRONT is facing toward you
- WITHOUT TWISTING push the filter into place
- Swing filter back in and close filter door
- Flush with two gallons of cold water (DO NOT use hot water)
- NOTE: new filters may spray while flushing
