4204490 Sub-Zero Refrigerator Replacement Water Filter Cartridge

The Sub-Zero Refrigerator Water Filter 4204490 fits SubZero refrigerators with built-in water filtration systems including the PRO 48.

The filter is approximately 2 1/8 inches in diameter and 11 1/2 inches long.

The 4204490 Filter is designed for use in system Model No. 4290510

The 4204490 Filter removes the following impurities from your drinking water:

• Asbestos
• Atrazine
• Benzene
• Carbofuran
• Chlorine
• Cysts
• 1,4-Dichlorobenzene
• Lead
• Lindane
• Mercury
• Particulates
• Toxaphene
• Turbidity

As with all built-in refrigerator water filters, the 4204490 does not remove Fluoride

The 4204490 cartridge is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53

The 4204490 should be replaced every 12 months or when the "REPLACE FILTER" indicator comes on - whichever comes first.

Installing your new water filter:

1. Lift the grille assembly
2. Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise
3. Pull the filter straight out and discard
4. Line up the new filter so the locking tabs will fit into the filter head
5. Push the new filter into the fridge until it stops
6. Twist the filter a quarter-turn clockwise

There's nothing in the 4204490 filter that can go bad, so it has No Expiration Date... It can live on your shelf for years.
