PUR Two Stage Filtration Process:

PUR CRF-950Z Filter Life:

The PUR 2-Stage Pitcher / Dispenser Filter CRF-950Z will filter up to 40 gallons of water, and should last 1-2 months (depending on usage).

PUR CRF-950Z Filter Installation:

1. Start by removing your used filter
2. Next, open up the new filter package, but don't remove the shipping retainer yet. You'll get to do that later.
3. Soak the new filter in cold tap water for 15 minutes
4. After it's done soaking, hold it upright under cold running water for 10 seconds to flush
5. After it's flushed, allow the excess water to drain
6. Now it's time to remove the shipping retainer, and install the filter
7. To insert the filter into your pitcher or dispenser, line up the filter tabs with the grooves in the blue pour tray, and twist the filter 45 degrees clockwise to seal (1/8 of a turn). The filter should go in easily, so make sure it's lined up, and try not to force it.
8. Now fill the pour tray completely with cold water and you're all set

Notes:

• You may find harmless carbon dust in the first gallon of filtered water. This is normal. Just pour the water out and refill.
• The O-ring on the CRF-950Z is slightly thicker than on the older CRF-950. This improves the seal considerably, but also requires slightly more force to install the filter.
