5231JA2006B / LT600P LG Refrigerator Replacement Water Filter Cartridge

The LG Refrigerator Water Filter 5231JA2006B / LT600P fits LG and Kenmore refrigerators with a long round filter.

The filter is approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter and 12 inches long.

Note: This filter is identical to the 5231JA2006A, but removes more contaminants and costs more.

Attention Kenmore refrigerator owners:

• If you have a Kenmore refrigerator, and your fridge model number starts with 795, then your refrigerator was made by LG, and you need an LG filter (the one shown on this page)

The LT600P Filter removes the following impurities from your drinking water:

• 99.35% of Lead at pH 6.5
• 99.31% of Lead at pH 8.5
• 91.20% of Mercury at pH 8.5
• 96.70% of Mercury at pH 6.5
• 96.30% of Benzene
• 99.99% of Cysts
• 95.90% of Atrazine
• 99.09% of Lindane
• 93.06% of 2,4-D
• 97.60% of Chlorine
• 99.30% of Turbidity
• 99.90% of Particulates (Class I)

As with all built-in refrigerator water filters, the LT600P does not remove Fluoride

The LT600P cartridge is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53

The 5231JA2006B / LT600P should be replaced every 6 months or when the "change filter" light comes on - whichever comes first.

Installing your new water filter:

1. Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise
2. Pull the filter straight out and discard (don't worry, the water will shut off automatically)
3. Push the new filter into the fridge until it stops
4. Twist the filter a quarter-turn clockwise
5. Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one)

Resetting your "change filter" light:

• Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds.
