GE GXRTDR SmartWater Inline Filter Replacement Cartridge

The GE GXRTDR is the replacement cartridge for the following GE SmartWater filter systems:

• GXRTQ*
• GXRTQR*
• GXITQ
• GXITD

Note: The GXRTDR filter is GE's replacement for the GXRTQR filter. The GXRTDR includes built-in fittings that connect directly to your 1/4 inch water line, so you will no longer need the fittings that came with the GXRTQ filter system. For details, please see the GXRTDR Installation Instructions.

The GXRTDR Filter removes the following impurities from your drinking water:

• 70% of Chlorine
• 99.5% of Particulates (Class V)
• Sediment
• Rust

The GXRTQR cartridge does not remove Fluoride

This filter system is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standard 42

The GXRTDR filter cartridge should be replaced:

• Every 6 months or
• If the refrigerator has not been used for more than two weeks (for instance, during an extended vacation) or
• If you notice a decrease in the flow of water or objectionable tastes in the water or ice
