The WS03X10001 O-Ring also fits GE systems that use the following replacement filters: The WS03X10001 is 3-3/8" (inside diameter) X 3-5/8" (outside diameter) Time and exposure to water, air, etc. can slowly deteriorate the O-ring material, causing it to become hard & brittle, allowing tiny cracks to form. These cracks eventually grow, the O-ring fails, and you end up with a leak. We recommend replacing your O-rings with every 3rd filter change - especially if your filter system is installed in a place where leaks could cause water damage. In-between O-ring changes, you can extend the life of your O-rings with our Food-Grade Silicone O-ring Grease.
