Tastes Like Brita filtered water Review by jakeeper
This filter worked exactly as promised. I don't like what the water tastes like&#44 although my roommate says it tastes like Brita water&#44 so no big shock. The Whirlpool filter tastes better to me&#44 but not so much better that I would bother to look for a refund/return. If the posted performance values for filtration are true&#44 the taste difference is much less than the performance differences betwee (Posted on 7/13/09)
Great replacement filter Review by Poindexter
I have used several of these filters from and have been very happy. The Brita filter fits exactly as the original Whirlpool filter. I am a 36 y/o male with average strength&#44 and I am surprised with how difficut it is to rotate the filter for replacement&#44 but this is an issue with the design of the installation type&#44 NOT the Brita filter. I can easily see that an arthritic/elde (Posted on 12/28/10)
Brita Filter Leaves Bad Taste In Mouth Review by mrgunn
I drink a lot of water&#44 so when it came time to replace my fridge's water filter&#44 I purchased the Brita WPRF-100 water filter. The Brita filter was cheaper than the Whirlpool factory brand and supposedly a better filter. I am very sorry I chose the Brita. The water has had an off taste since I installed the Brita filter&#44 a problem I did not have with the Whirlpool branded filters I purchased in (Posted on 12/19/12)
Brita Refrigerator Filters Review by Lew
I was hoping for the same quality of great water that I can get from a Brita water pitcher filter and got it. Our tap water smells like it came from a public pool. The Brita fridge filters removes the smell and provides a great taste. Plus&#44 you have the convenience of not waiting for the water pitcher filter to do it stuff. The water is great for better tasting home made soup. I also use this (Posted on 7/26/12)
Don't know it yet! Review by Green lady
This is an order placed for replacements. This wil not be used until August/september since we had just replaced filter in March. I am sure it will be a good choice becuse Brita is a brand name we have come to trust over the years. So I am sorry I cannot give a review since we have not used it yet. I will gladly give a review at that time so I will see you in September. (Posted on 10/5/12)
Finally&#44 drinkable frig water... Review by bootcamper
This filter is great. We have a new professional 42" stainless steel refrigerator with a water dispenser. The water tasted horrible - we went through 2 different filters and our kids still preferred the sink water. Then&#44 we tried this Brita one. It works! I even did a taste test with my family and they chose the refrigerator water with the new filter. (Posted on 12/24/08)
Filter [...] excellent Review by AJ
Filter works well for anything made with water. It removes the heavy metals like lead and mercury in whatever small concentrations there are. Water tastes good too but the prime reason we use this is to remove heavy metals. A lot of bad health has been attributed to having too high a concentration of these in our bodies. Great Product Review by Terry the bowle
There is nothing bad you can say about this product. It works just like it is suppose to work&#44 actually it can go longer than the six months that is advertiseed to go&#44 but i usually change it at 6 months. Very good product&#44 I reccommend it to all of my friends who have a Kitchaide Refrigeratopr with ice maker. (Posted on 10/25/12)
Great Tasting Water Review by Dan the Man
Brita filters are top quality products. Every pot of coffee tastes great compared to regular tap water. I use our fridge water for both drinking and cooking and the water comes out clear and not smelling with the Brita filter. I'm happy with the results that the Brita filter produces. Great! Review by =wolfegang76=
This is a good filter. I have no affiliation with "fridgefilters" company. This was easy to install and the water tastes fine. Just wish it would remove flouride&#44 but I don't think there are many filters around that do that. Do yourself a favor though and order a 3 pack... cheers! (Posted on 7/28/09)
